    the room was great value and well-kept with bedroom, a four poster bed, and btw the hotel had a rooftop bar onsite. the location was comfortable, in the pub in the groundfloor!

    Didn't like the area, it was really noisy.

    Reasonably priced place, had a really really nice stay for a weekend. The staff were efficient and amicable hole time of my stay. I was given brand-new and functional room with window open and a good selection of facilities, as for instance.

    I had perfect room complete with very good shower and bathroom plus the loo after travelling. The location was magnificent for walking around York Minster. The restaurant was located within 200 metres.

    Shame the bathroom was very small.

    The breakfast was banging, particularly the fresh and tasty options! Plus, the beer garden vibe was great, perfect for winding down after a day of exploring. Can't forget the friendly breakfast staff who had us laughing-absolute gems!

    The shower situation was a bit dodgy, leaking into the floor below, leading to a surprise wake-up call! Soundproofing could've been better too, with street noise creeping in.
